A quick post before running off to work.
The retreat was so much fun and I am glad to report that I got a bunch of stitching done. I started to realize how lucky I was that we had this weekend, since the Bargello part of the Hare Pyns pocket took a really long time to get in. The nice thing is that you don't have to count your stitches after you have gotten in your first row, but still... wow, I'm glad that it is done!
Here are some progress pics.
Friday night:
Saturday night/Sunday morning (note my wad o' orts):
Yesterday night:
I have a bunch left to do. One more panel to go - tent-stitch over one. After that, the background needs to be filled in for the sections showing linen and then I'm ready to assemble this baby in class. Someone pointed out that class is the first weekend in October, so there is really not a whole lot time left to play with...
Well, time to get to work.
Thanks for stopping by, as always.
I will post pics from the retreat later this week! :-)
Take care and Happy Stitching,
Your Hare Pyns is so beautiful! I'm very envious that you get to take this class. I've been pining after a chance to take it forever. Good luck with getting it done and have fun in class too!
